Having had a career in musical theatre, while also spending several years working in logistics and transportation, Adam has had wide-ranging professional experiences in multiple industries.
It is through these that he uncovered his true passion for understanding human connection and the development of complex relationships. He also sharpened his skills in problem-solving and strategizing through the day-to-day and long-term pressures we all endure.
Adam’s lived experience brings an intimate understanding of the journey to attaining balance and growth in one’s personal and professional life as well as the unique ups and downs along the way. Successes, drawbacks, achievements, frustrations, and disappointments happen, and it is how we process and master these experiences and the accompanying emotions that makes all the difference in our growth.
Adam’s primary focus is supporting adolescents, adults, and couples with a focus in supporting those who have or are experiencing challenges with trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, emotional regulation, relationship issues, attachment, work-life balance, anxiety, depression, addiction, burnout, and life transitions. Adam utilizes an integrative and collaborative approach via a strengths-based, psychodynamic, emotionally focused, and trauma-informed lens through the use of Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal Theory. Adam is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and is Gottman Level 1 Certified.
Adam’s goal with his clients is to help them discover, embrace, and honor their identity, true self, and worth, while mindfully navigating through life. Adam supports his clients by guiding them on the path to being the best version of themselves and empowering them to act on life, instead of reacting to it.
Outside of his professional work, Adam loves reading, spending time by the lake, in nature, and with animals, seeing live theatre and music performances, viewing new movies, and listening to podcasts about sports and psychology.
