About our Program

At CFC Therapy Group, we feel honored to support & aid the next generation of therapists. That’s why we periodically welcome new interns & pre-licensed folks to the CFC family. Supervision for pre-licensed as well as licensed clinicians is available at CFC Therapy Group. Reach out today for more information.

Internship Opportunities:

Every year, CFC welcomes graduate students to complete their internship/practicum hours under the supervision of our clinical supervisor. We recognize the importance of encouraging growth, fostering independence, and creating a safe learning environment for our world’s future therapists.  At CFC we treat our interns with warmth, respect, and care while offering a level of healthy accountability and guidance. We can help you learn to navigate the mental health field, gather tools, and adhere to the ethics that we honor & uphold. Because of the diversity at our practice, interns are guaranteed a large range of clients from ages 5-95, including couples and family counseling. Don’t knock it before you try it. Where else are you going to get the opportunity to learn and explore your strengths?

Supervision for Pre-Licensed Therapists (LPC, LSW):

Hoping for a clinical license? Are you searching for a clinical supervisor so you can complete your required, supervised hours in the field? Do you need weekly supervision? Reach out today to learn more about what we can currently offer.

Supervision for Licensed Clinicians (LCSW, LCPC):

Are you a licensed clinician looking for extra guidance? Do you feel a lack of community in your current professional environment? Sometimes the best investment clinicians can make is an investment in supervision. Together, craft a plan with CFC to provide yourself with added support from a member of the mental health community. Reach out today for full details on what we can currently offer.

Specialty Supervision Groups:

CFC Therapy also offers speciality supervision groups such as groups related to: children/adolescent therapy, couples counseling, and eye-motion desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). We are constantly adding new groups based on demand and opportunities. Have a supervision group in mind? Reach out today & ask us how we can help!

About the Supervisors:

Her current specialties are OCD, adjustment to parenthood, harm reduction, couples work, breakup recovery, executives with work/life balance, and mindfulness. Her approach is considered relational at all levels, interactive and fun. You will leave with an “ah ha” moment and be given homework for the week ahead. She will encourage you to challenge your narrative and to do your own therapeutic work. Filled with rituals to help contain, observe vs absorb, so that you develop lifelong boundaries and anti-burnout skills. Contact us today to learn more about working with Crystal!

Hillary Burr, LCSW, has over 10 years of experience working in case management and mental health settings. She received her MSW from the University of Connecticut in 2015. She has experience working with clients across the lifespan in residential and community mental health settings. Hillary has completed specific training in supervision. Additionally, Hillary is trained in EMDR therapy. She has been supervising graduate interns and pre-licensed professionals since 2018. Hillary supports interns’ professional development by focusing on four growth areas; professional identity, clinical skills, administrative effectiveness and self of the therapist. The moment you meet her, you will feel seen, cared for, and don’t forget– challenged. While offering inclusion & support, she will push you to look at yourself in the process of providing care for others. Hillary can be described as warm, authentic, & growth oriented. Her enthusiasm is contagious & the power of her encouragement is unparalleled. Contact us today to learn more about working with Hillary!
