Virtual Therapy

What is Virtual Therapy
Virtual therapy is a great, convenient option for many busy people. It’s also a great option for some people who find physically getting to therapy to be difficult. For many people challenged by anxiety, virtual therapy can be a good middle-ground if the thought of walking into a therapy office seems too stressful. That being said, some people prefer in-person therapy. You never know until you try!

Most clinicians will be happy to work out a unique plan that best suits your needs. If, together, you decide a style or combination is a good idea, this is absolutely an option. The convenience of virtual therapy, at times, also allows for more flexibility if your schedule is unpredictable.
While a virtual therapy structure traditionally provides more flexibility for the timing and location of the appointments, the appointment expectations and communication would still fall under the same billing structure as determined by the CFC billing policies and procedures.
Most insurance companies will cover this form of therapy, but it’s important that you contact your insurance company to review your benefits.
It’s important that you see a therapist who is licensed in your state.
