Q&A Section:

What led you into doing this work? From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a field that allowed me to help and empower others. In every job I’ve held, collaborating and connecting with people has always been the most meaningful part, as I strive to build genuine and lasting relationships. During college, I led a body image group for adolescent women at a local high school, which reaffirmed my desire to be part of a space that fosters growth and healing. My own experiences with personal and familial mental health challenges have also strengthened my ability to empathize with and support others facing similar struggles.

What is your experience in therapeutic settings? I have had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families across diverse life stages, including children, adolescents, and adults. Whether someone is navigating challenges in relationships, coping with emotional pain or anxiety, or seeking support for their child or teen, I strive to meet each client exactly where they are. In my work, I cultivate a therapeutic environment that is warm, authentic, and genuine—one that encourages growth, healing, and meaningful change.

Best Therapeutic Advice: I often share a phrase with many of my clients that I first learned in graduate school: “You cannot pour from an empty cup.” In today’s society, we’re conditioned to work hard and achieve—often at the expense of our own well-being. Over time, I’ve learned that slowing down, being intentional, and allowing space for rest are not signs of weakness, but essential parts of sustaining our balance. We must nurture and refill our own cups before we can give to others.

Favorite Book Right Now: One of my current favorite books is Set Boundaries, Find Peace: A Guide to Reclaiming Yourself by Nedra Glover Tawwab. As someone who considers myself a “recovering people-pleaser,” this book has been eye-opening in helping me understand the power of saying “no” with confidence and compassion. It’s taught me that setting healthy boundaries not only strengthens my relationship with myself but also deepens my connections with others.
